What we do

Oncology treatment for children is aggressive, painful, and unforgiving with many of the drugs administered designed to treat adults. Side effects from the drugs can have devastating and life altering outcomes both physically and emotionally. Life during treatment can be incredibly difficult for children and their families. Focusing on their comfort and wellbeing, we want to make the treatment experience more tolerable for children.

Brain tumours kill more children & adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet receive only 2% of cancer research national spend. We want to raise funds to support research institutions to understand more about the causes, symptoms and treatment of brain tumours so that in the future, improvements to patients’ lives could be made.
