As Albie's Mummy, I've lived the devastating impact cancer and brain tumours has on families. I understand where support is needed and how we can make a difference.
Albie loved his life. He was happy, caring, funny and a joy to be around. Albie is the heartbeat behind the foundation and my personal inspiration.
I'm so proud to be Albie's Daddy and move forward with Albie's legacy through the Albie Sugden Foundation. I'm excited by the different fundraising initiatives our community is engaging in and I plan to take part in as many I can. As a small business owner, I hope to bring many of my learnings and experiences to the table in my role as trustee.
A friend of the Sugden family for over 30 years, I bring a wealth of healthcare experience to my role of trustee as a senior radiographer.
As Albie's Auntie, The Albie Sugden Foundation lies close to my heart. I also have first hand experience living with a brain tumour having had my own diagnosis of a low grade glioma just months after Albie's diagnosis. As a vet I am passionate about evidence based medicine so was shocked to learn how underfunded brain tumour research is.
